Retro-fit Basements.

For homes that don't already have a basement.

With ever increasing house prices its becoming viable to add an extra floor to your house under the existing footprint.  Especially in conservation areas, where there is no space for extension or for listed buildings the addition of space underground can be the only way of increasing living space.

Although its expensive, the costs of moving (solicitor’s fees, moving fees, estate agent’s fees, stamp duty etc.) can soon exceed the costs of providing more space underground and the work can all be undertaken without having to move out.  Disruption can be kept to an absolute minimum with nearly all works capable of being undertaken from outside with the additional provision of portable w/c’s and site facilities if you value your privacy.
