Removing the staircase was the biggest challenge as it involved supporting the walkway on the ground floor whilst it was still being used as a family home.
Project Details
This conversion of an existing basement in a Victorian property involved lowering the floor to create acceptable headroom, new support for the foundations and removal of the stair enclosure at ground floor level to create a new home cinema and workshop area for the family.
